GVSU Vintage Lakers T-Shirt

After being unofficially known as the “Bruisers” (for their blue, black, and white color scheme) GVSU held a vote in 1965 to choose a new nickname. After a vote that took seven hours, students chose a write-in option, and have been known as the Lakers ever since.
